Perú es uno de los países más bellos del mundo. ¿Qué debe saber la gente sobre la cultura local? ¿Cuál es la moneda monetaria que tienes en Perú?
Perú es, de hecho, un país maravilloso. Creo que lo tenemos todo, somos un país realmente bendecido: rica historia, hermosos paisajes, gente amable y vibrante, la mejor cocina del mundo (los peruanos son expertos en nuevos sabores), arquitectura maravillosa, tres regiones increíbles (costa, tierras altas y selva) y clima cálido. Perú es una tierra de oportunidades, cultura histórica y antigua (el Imperio Inca, culturas prehispánicas) y gente trabajadora. Somos un país multiétnico con tradiciones vibrantes. ¿Cuáles son los mejores lugares para casarse en Perú?

En esta ciudad, puedes tener fotos increíbles antes y después de la boda. Además, sus invitados pueden tener la experiencia real de visitar ruinas increíbles y una de las siete maravillas: Machu Picchu.
• Arequipa es una ciudad llena de inspiradores museos, catedrales y monasterios. Tiene paisajes increíbles, un volcán impresionante, edificios históricos y una rica cocina regional.
¿Cómo deben comportarse las personas en una boda peruana? ¿Hay una ceremonia especial que la gente está acostumbrada a celebrar durante las bodas?
Los peruanos son principalmente católicos y la ceremonia de la boda generalmente se lleva a cabo en una iglesia. Sin embargo, en algunas ciudades y pueblos, observará las costumbres de sus antepasados que involucran tradiciones espirituales y románticas.
Hay una ceremonia tradicional andina llamada homenaje u ofrenda a la Pachamama. Es una ceremonia pequeña y privada entre la novia y el novio con músicos locales y un sacerdote local. Hay una ceremonia chamánica tradicional para obtener más fortuna en el matrimonio. La ceremonia involucra música, canto y se realiza en el idioma quechua, que es el idioma de los incas. Este es un homenaje a la Pachamama o madre tierra que es el dios más importante en la cultura inca. Es una forma de conectarse con la naturaleza y recibir una bendición mística.

No tengo dudas de decir que es uno de los países más prodigiosos, lleno de maravillas naturales. Tiene todos los climas que puedas imaginar, una variedad de culturas y una historia extraordinaria.
En Perú, definitivamente puedes probar la comida más exótica y exquisita, sabores y combinaciones únicas. Además, puede beber la gama más diversa de bebidas hechas de Pisco, nuestra bebida alcohólica nacional y otras bebidas no alcohólicas hechas de frutas exóticas. Si está pensando en pasar un buen rato con amigos, hay muchos lugares que puede visitar para conocer nuestra historia y vivir la verdadera experiencia peruana, una verdadera exploración cultural. ¿Cuánto tiempo suele durar una boda peruana?
Las bodas en Perú son grandes celebraciones, a veces con una banda u orquesta que toca toda la noche. En Lima, las celebraciones de bodas suelen durar 7 u 8 horas. En algunas ciudades o pueblos peruanos las celebraciones duran 3 o 4 días. Algo que debe tener en cuenta es que a las personas en Perú les encantan las celebraciones, bailar y divertirse con sus seres queridos.
Una cosa que definitivamente te sorprenderá es la forma en que los peruanos celebran una boda bailando y bebiendo toda la noche. Hay algo que ocurre durante la fiesta que se llama "Hora Loca", es una forma de mantener la fiesta y disfrutar con máscaras coloridas y juguetes de fiesta.
¿Qué debería esperar la gente del pueblo peruano?
Me siento realmente orgulloso de ser peruano. Para mí, ser peruano significa tener el coraje de superar las dificultades y obtener lo que quieras en la vida.
Los peruanos son muy amables, hospitalarios, cálidos y animados.

I think that we have it all, we are a really blessed country: rich history, beautiful landscapes, friendly and vibrant people, the best cuisine in the world (Peruvians are experts in new flavors), wonderful architecture, three amazing regions (coast, highlands, and jungle) and warm weather. Here, you can enjoy an authentic cultural experience.
Peru is a land of opportunities, historical and ancient culture (the Inca Empire, pre-hispanic cultures) and hard-working people. We are a multi-ethnic country with vibrant traditions. It’s well-known for ceviche, pisco sour, inca cola, chicha morada, quinoa, Machu Picchu, some of the best waves in the world, the best cotton is Peruvian, the great quality of Peruvian chocolate made of Peruvian cacao and the finest Alpaca fiber. There are innumerable reasons to visit Peru and live a magic multicultural experience.

What are the best places to get married in Peru?
Peru has everything. The most beautiful places to get married are:
Lima the capital city with lots of history and classical architecture. In Lima, you can find different wedding venues where you can hold a great event.
Cusco that is one of the most charming places in the world. It’s a magical and historical city and by far the best option to have a real destination wedding. In this city, you can have awesome pre and post-wedding photos. Also, your guests can have the real experience of visiting amazing ruins and one of the seven wonders: Machu Picchu.
Arequipa is a city full of inspiring museums, cathedrals, and monasteries. It has amazing landscapes, an impressive volcano, historical buildings, and a rich regional cuisine.
How people should behave in a Peruvian wedding? There is a special ceremony that people are used to having during the weddings?
Peruvian people are mainly Catholic and the wedding ceremony usually takes place in a church. However, in some cities and towns, you will observe the customs of their ancestors which involve spiritual and romantic traditions.
There’s a traditional andean ceremony called a tribute or offering to the Pachamama. It’s a small and private ceremony between the bride and groom with local musicians and a local priest. There’s a traditional shamanic ceremony in order to get more fortune in marriage. The ceremony involves music, singing and is done in the Quechua language, which is the language of the Incas. This is a tribute to the Pachamama or mother earth that is the most important god in the Incas culture. It’s a way to connect with nature and receive a mystical blessing.
Weddings in Huancayo include a Pallpa (a competitive gift giving by the bride and groom’s families). The family of the bride and groom compete to see who can give more presents to the new couple marching to the rhythm of the band playing traditional huayno music. It’s a huge celebration with drinking and dancing.
Destination wedding couples always try to show their guests the country traditions with typical dances, folk music, typical food and some fun activities to enjoy their stay.
I think it’s a good idea to be proud of where you are and mix different traditions in your wedding to make it a memorable day for you and your guests.
If you attend a Peruvian wedding, be ready to eat mouth-watering food, have tasty Peruvian spirit drinks and dance all night long. Once the bride and groom arrive at the wedding venue and perform the first dance… the party is officially on mode-on.

Is it expensive or cheap to get married in Peru? Tell us a little bit more about that?
Having a destination wedding in Peru is once in a lifetime experience. The cost a wedding will vary according to the type of celebration you are planning: indoor or outdoor venue, luxury hotel or another type of venue, the number of guests, and the type of event you have in mind: rustic, elegant or glamourous.
The wedding budget is always a big issue. Compared to other destination wedding venues, planning destination weddings in Peru will be cheaper. The average whole wedding cost is estimated between $20,000 to $25,000. This includes the venue, catering and other wedding vendors. There are different alternative services that you can find to personalize your wedding style. If you are planning a destination wedding in Peru, it’s really important to have professional advice and having a wedding planner is a great decision. What are you proud of your country that you would love people to see or have the experience?
Peru is a wonderful place to fall in love with and Peruvians are the friendliest and warmest people in the world. I have no doubt to say that it’s one of the most prodigious countries, full of natural wonders. It has every climate you can imagine, a variety of cultures and an extraordinary history.
In Peru, you can definitely try the most exotic and exquisite food, unique flavors and combinations. Also, you can drink the most diverse range of drinks made of Pisco, our national alcoholic drink, and other soft drinks made of exotic fruit. If you are thinking of having a great time with friends there are lots of places that you can visit to learn about our history and live the real Peruvian experience, a real cultural exploration. Once you visit Peru, you would like to come back again because it’s a place with historical tradition. Wherever you go, you find breathtaking views and landscapes.
Being Peruvian for means feeling proud of my roots and sharing with the world the beauty and richness of my country.
How long usually a Peruvian wedding party last?
Weddings in Peru are big celebrations, sometimes with a band or orchestra that plays all night. In Lima, wedding celebrations usually last 7 or 8 hours. In some Peruvian cities or towns the celebrations last 3 or 4 days. Something that you need to have in mind is that people in Peru love celebrations, dancing and having fun with their beloved ones.
One thing that you will definitely feel amazed is the way Peruvians celebrate a wedding dancing and drinking all night. There’s something that takes place during the party that’s called “Hora Loca”, it’s a way to keep the party going and enjoy with colorful masks and party toys.
What should people expect about the Peruvian people?
I feel really proud of being Peruvian. For me, being Peruvian means have the courage to overcome difficulties and get whatever you want in life.
Peruvian people are very friendly, hospitable, warm and lively.
